PHILLY AND SADIE
GO TO MT. SHASTA,
October 15 -17,2006,
Mt. Shasta and Dunsmuir,
California.
I try to get up to the Dunsmuir, Mt. Shasta area a few times a year.
Lately I have been so busy I have only made it up for my friend Steve Tinney's birthday. This year his
birthday October 13 fell on a Friday. I couldn't miss work so I came up a few days later on Sunday.
A big portion of these photos were shot with Kodak V530 Digital Zoom Camera. A special thanks to my friend Steve Tinny for the use of his camera.
Believe it or not - when I arrived at Lake Siskiyou with the dogs I walked toward them to take a photo and tripped over a rock and fell on my face.
I broke the lens to my Nikon D70. As of now, it appears that only the lens broke and my camera body is okay.
I love it up here. Here is a view of Mt. Shasta (rear). I believe I shot this from the Castle Lake area.
